I’m Sarah Burr. I’ve spent 12 years building customer reference, customer marketing, and social media advocacy programs at some of the fastest-growing B2B technology companies in Silicon Valley. Some of my customers at companies like ServiceNow, DataStax, and Confluent have turned into lifelong friends. My work life has taken me all over the USA and the world, and I have been fortunate to work for some incredible leaders and mentors in that time. I’ve also been a people manager and discovered how much I enjoy mentoring and championing others.
When I started my consulting business in 2021, I realized how many more companies and customer advocacy professionals I could help with repeatable, scalable processes that work.

One of my favorite professional quotes comes from one of the best CEOs in the biz, Frank Slootman. He wrote, “Leaders are not people with management titles per se. Leaders set standards of performance for others to follow. High performance organizations exhibit leadership coming from all directions, it is not an exclusively top-down phenomenon. Anybody, anytime can decide to be a leader. It is just a different mode of getting up and going to work in the morning.”
